Hello, I was a teacher for camp there many, many years ago. My daughter now goes to the same camp! I enjoy all the classes I take and the school is always familiar and inviting.

I teach chemistry full-time at UVM but art has always been a huge part of my life. Finally, after years of watching my daughter enjoy the classes and camps at the Shelburne Craft School, I decided to take a clay class.

Playing in clay is a way for me to practice life lessons like being centered, getting messy, and letting go. I love the process of creating and being surprised by the result, and I am eager to learn more about this flexible and multifarious medium.

Steadily trying to show clay that I’m in charge! Hoping to improve my throwing skills so I will have a short supply of handmade gifts for all occasions. Thoroughly enjoying being a part of the SCS community :)

Former network news anchor and longtime NYC public radio host, Claudia moved to Charlotte with her husband, Matt in 2012. She teaches spin classes at SAC and occasionally sings professionally.
I’m a writer, musician, gardener, yoga teacher, friend, and lover of making things.
Marc has been a clinical social worker maintaining his own private practice for the past 25 years. He began ceramics in 1984 in high school, mainly on a Lockerbie kick wheel. Since then he's taken many ceramics classes on and off. In 2021 he returned to ceramics after a 10 year hiatus. He'll never willingly take another break from it. Pottery is his super happy place. A day touching clay is never a wasted one. Woodworking and gardening have also been ongoing passions.
He lives in Charlotte, VT with his wife Annie, their two children Eliam and Pearl and their two dogs Rosie and Gillie.
