Do you have a child that enjoys getting their hands dirty? Imagine your child getting to play with clay while learning the foundation of hand-building. In this mixed level afterschool courses, students from 1st grade to 4th grade learn about making slabs, hand coiling, pinching, texturing, and glazing. Each session begins with a project that children then customize into a unique, whimsical and colorful memory to bring home at the end of the season. Students will have the opportunity to make a variety of projects such as mugs, animals, ugly jugs, flower planters, syrup pitchers, gnome homes and more. Do you have an older child who also wants to play with clay? Check out our two clay courses for kids ages 10-14. Clay 002 or Clay 003.
