I'm a painter and artist's model. I recently moved to Shelburne from Cape Cod. I studied Fiber Arts and Painting at the Swain School of Design a long time ago. Recently I lived for 4 years in Provincetown where I concentrated on my painting and studied with many local artists. I am loving life in Vermont.
Retired Professor of Industrial Technology & Corporate Trainer/Coach and Founder/Director of Our Chinese Daughters Foundation. Owned/Operated two Maine hotels but sold and escaped to a life of hands on workshops and more travel! I enjoy basketweaving, glassmaking, jewelry-making, felting, and more!
I recently moved to Vermont from the Bay Area, two beautiful places I have been lucky to call home. I have a background in Landscape Architecture and currently work as an Integrative Health & Wellness Coach. I feel most inspired when I am connecting with others, creating things, and spending time outside.
I have been a fiber artist for more than 4 decades - weaving, knitting, sewing, dyeing, quilting - along with a variety of other arts/crafts. I want to learn everything. But, Science pays the bills.
I am an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in printmaking, textiles, and sculpture. Nature, folk art, religious and occult iconography, and the human figure are some of my main artistic influences and inspirations. Repetition of images and patterns is an important part of my creative practice, always asking me to consider materials and subject matter through the lens of iteration.
Hello! I am a jack of all trades, but am most passionate about wool and slow stitching. Excited to be a part of this community!
