Johnine has been working in clay at Shelburne Craft School since 2010. During her time here, her work evolved from creating simple bowls to hand building and painting plates and figurines. Her work transforms her love of pop culture, silly puns, and B-movie monsters into bug-eyed ceramic figures and quirky tableware. “Each of my pieces start out as a thought that makes me laugh, and goes from there.”
Johnine lives and works in Shelburne with her husband, children, and a rabbit named “Ozzy Osbourne”
