Looking for a fun creative place for your child to hang out when SCS dismisses early? Our woodshop program was originally designed for local afterschool kids as a safe place to go and to be inspired to live a well crafted life! In this 8 week course, students have the opportunity to learn team building skills and creative decision making while using traditional woodworking tools like rasps, files, gouges, routers, spoke-shaves, wood burners, and sand paper. Students will learn about shop and tool safety while they customize a variety of weekly projects with their instructor. This course is offered throughout the school year and can be taken again and again.
