Shelburne Craft School Painting Collective. This course is intended to provide students with an environment to practice and advance their painting skills in the company of fellow artists. The format is largely an “open studio time” and is self-driven by the students. An instructor will oversee the studio and can give guidance to students, as needed. In addition, participants will be presented with weekly discussion topics/articles relating to painting, Art History, composition, symbolism, color theory, and more.

This is not an introductory painting course, as technical instruction will be limited, but students of all levels are welcome.

Due to studio space constraints, we ask that students keep canvas/surface size to a maximum of 24”x 36”.
