Are you new to clay? This course offers a little bit of everything to introduce students to the versatility of ceramics. Each class is project focused to teach students about different clay techniques. Classes will include projects in hand building, the extruder, the basics of wheel throwing and one raku firing. For over 75 years, we have been teaching all skill levels the delight of working in clay. Students have access to our non- instructed open studio hours to continue to practice and improve techniques. This course is also family friendly and open to teens 13+ with accompanying enrollment with a parent or guardian or special family friend. It is also open to single enrollment for ages 15+.
