I recently moved to Vermont from the San Francisco Bay Area, two beautiful places I have been lucky to call home. My design and craft work (including clay, fiber, print, and laser cutting) is inspired by nature and geometry, and informed by my academic and professional background in landscape architecture.
I received my Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and BA in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College. I have worked at various non profits and design firms with a focus on landscape design, parks planning, community engagement, and public health. In addition, I was a member of TechShop in San Francisco where I fell in love with laser cutting and launched my laser cut jewelry shop, Folia Design SF, in 2011.
I live in Shelburne with my husband and two sons, and volunteer on the Town's Pedestrian and Bicycle Paths Committee and with Shelburne Community School's Nearby Nature Program. I have taken drawing, print, clay, and fiber art classes at Shelburne Craft School and Burlington City Arts, and feel most inspired when I am creating things and spending time outside.
