Introduction

In this 3-week introductory class, students will learn all the basics of knitting and will leave the class at the end of the session with a finished stitch sampler scarf. This class is appropriate for complete beginners or those who have done a bit of knitting in the past and are looking for a refresher course.

Skills covered will be:

§ casting on and the basic knit stitch

§ purling and reading a knitting pattern

§ troubleshooting and fixing common mistakes

§ binding off and next steps on your knitting journey
