Introduction

Advanced Oil Painting:
This course is for advanced painters who are serious about developing a routine in painting practice. Each week student’s will bring a painting to start or work on and the imagery or theme they are currently investigating. We will use traditional oil paints and mediums, and paint from life when the weather cooperates. Each week will start with an optional critique and end with a group meeting for the last 30 mins. Your instructor will work with each person on- on-one to set personal goals and expectations of work.

Stephanie Bush is a Montreal native with an extensive exhibition record both nationally and internationally. She earned her MFA from the University of Waterloo, ON, with a minor in Women’s Studies. Currently, Bush resides in Vermont and divides her time between her professional art practice, teaching art and raising her young family. She has alternately been teaching drawing, painting and sculpture at part time CCV for the past 10 years. Bush is represented by The Clark Gallery near Boston and The Meyer Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
