Introduction
Interested in learning how to draw but not sure where to start? Or maybe you have the basic skills but want to develop your practice? Did you know that the earliest drawings date back to 30,000 to 10,000 B.C to caves in France and Spain? Drawing preceded writing as the most direct form of communication. It is one of the oldest forms of human expression. In this course, a variety of media is welcomed to explore the fundamentals of this practice. Visual curiosity will be encouraged and developed with a goal of learning how to express your unique way of seeing the world in a supportive environment. Students will be given exercises and/or prompts each week to stimulate both artistic language and technical skills. Tips and tricks for developing a strong drawing practice will be discussed . Each session will take place in our historic Bunk House Studio.
