Introduction
Soak up the sights, sounds and warm summer breezes at Shelburne Farms while playing with color, texture and image on a small, portable tapestry loom. Students will have the opportunity to be inspired by nature while they choose colors and techniques that reflect what they see, or a representation of it. Yarn blending to produce color impacts and shading techniques will be of special focus in this unique tapestry class.
This class is appropriate for beginning and experienced weavers. If you have no prior weaving experience, please contact the school to arrange a short meeting with the instructor prior to the beginning of class. This meeting will be held on Sunday, July 16th at 10am at the Craft School.
Students are asked to either have an active membership to Shelburne Farms or to make a donation to the nonprofit.
