Introduction

Capture the bounty and color of summer en plein air at incredible locations at Shelburne Museum.
Become comfortable and confident with the practice of working outdoors, using the medium of your choice, at picturesque locations around Shelburne Museum. Students will learn how to capture the essence of picturesque gardens and historic architecture. You will learn how to work quickly and efficiently and how to approach painting in nature with grace and humor! This course is open to all skill levels and all painting mediums.

Teacher

Stephanie Bush is a Montreal native with an extensive exhibition record both nationally and internationally. She earned her MFA from the University of Waterloo, ON, with a minor in Women’s Studies. Currently, Bush resides in Vermont and divides her time between her professional art practice, teaching art and raising her young family. She has alternately been teaching drawing, painting and sculpture at part time CCV for the past 10 years. Bush is represented by The Clark Gallery near Boston and The Meyer Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.
