Introduction
Tapestry 2 is the natural continuation from Introduction to Tapestry Weaving for those who want to learn about and practice with other weavers how to do things like: weave more complex shapes, create transparency effects, determine which techniques to use to achieve desired outcomes, and work from cartoons. There will be ample time to talk about looms, warp yarns, weaving yarns, and other questions that arise for the weaver.
Pre-requisites: students need to have taken the Introduction to Tapestry class or have similar class or practice experience.
Materials
Students Supply: a frame loom warped at 7-9 ends per inch with an 5-inch weaving width. Looms should not exceed 20 inches wide and should be able to be placed on a table top.
** if you have questions about looms, contact the instructor once you register
*** frame looms are available to rent
