Introduction

In this course you will learn how to construct a raised bed garden. You will learn how to design, chose and cut wood and create a garden that you could replicate in your own backyard.
Location: TBA but close to the craft school and likely in Shelburne

The Building Arts program at Shelburne Craft School provides real-world, hands-on education, focusing on high-quality craftsmanship through community-built projects.

The spaces we create and inhabit provide connection, refuge, and identity — as well as an evolving framework for education.

With the launch of this program, we envision our existing curriculum in craft, design, and fine arts to expand to the scale of buildings, while acting as a catalyst for new community initiatives.
