Session 1
Capture the colors of spring & summer en plein air at incredible locations on Shelburne Farms.
Become comfortable and confident with the practice of working outdoors, using the medium of your choice, at picturesque locations around Shelburne Farms, including the Rose Garden, Farm Barn and Lone Tree Hill. Students will learn how to capture the essence of picturesque Vermont landscapes, from the fleeting light, to the range of tones, and water vs. sky. You will learn how to work quickly and efficiently and how to approach painting the landscape with grace and humor! This course is open to all skill levels and all painting mediums.

Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 is a rain date.
Students are asked to either have an active membership to Shelburne Farms or to make a donation to the nonprofit.
