Introduction

Enameling is the process of fusing colored glass to metal. Using cookie cutters as stencils, students will saw festive forms out of copper. Then, we will use a torch to fuse powdered glass to your copper form to create personalized ornaments that can be hung from your tree or given as a gift.

Jolynn is an artist and educator from Ohio. She received her BFA in Jewelry Metal and Enameling from Kent State University. After working as a Bench Jeweler in New York City, she pursued an MFA in Metal from the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she was an Instructor of Record. Jolynn was a 2019 2020 Artist-in-Residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts. Most recently, she was a faculty member at Montgomery University and Towson University, as well as an instructor at the Baltimore Jewelry Center.
