Introduction

Enjoy a very basic hands-on introduction to green wood carving. We will be going over the grips and techniques, with attention to safety, for using a small hatchet, straight knife, and a few other simple tools while you endeavor to carve a butter knife, a wooden hook, and a few beads from freshly harvested green wood. We will also explore some simple carving decoration/embellishment tips to add to your creations. All tools and materials will be provided.
