In this course, students will learn various skills and accomplish projects designed to inspire young fiber artists. Each session begins with learning the basics of hand-work techniques and moves into a project to practice new skill. This course can be repeated again and again-- students will have the opportunity to work on projects aimed for advancement and mastery, building on the skills they learn each session.
Example projects include

-Tapestry Weave on a Frame Loom
-Weaving on Driftwood
In every session, our instructor will include lessons that will touch on various themes that are important to fiber artists and crafters, such as the vast array of fibers and materials artists enjoy using, an introduction to tools of the trade, such as hand carders and drum carders, and a brief lesson on how raw wool eventually becomes yarn.
