Introduction
In this class students will learn how to assemble a stained glass panel using the traditional lead channel method. Students will learn how to shape strips of lead channel around cut pieces of glass and how to cut and solder the lead. They will also learn how to putty and finish their leaded windows. Students will first complete a small practice panel and then with the skills they have learned will build a larger panel of their own design or, if they prefer, from a design supplied by the instructor. This class is for people who already have some prior experience working with stained glass, as the basics of glass cutting won’t be covered.
