The Shelburne Craft school’s well-loved clay studio has served thousands of students over the years. After almost 72 years in the pottery building founded by Aileen Webb, we are turning our attention to better energy efficiency on our campus and the comfort of our students, teachers and volunteers. It’s time to replace the existing windows, which have greatly outlived their lifespan.
We have begun a fundraiser for $10,600, which is the total cost of buying and installing a new block of windows for the clay studio and insulating the wall below the windows. That’s about $220 for each of 48 window panes.
Please help us by purchasing one or more window panes. Or if you prefer, you can send a donation of any amount.
We plan to have the new windows installed in late August 2022. Going forward, we will have a much more comfortable environment in which to learn.
